Museum of History of Barcelona (MUHBA) (C/ d’Espronceda, 142–146)This old workshop factory, built in 1920 and dedicated to the production and repair of industrial machinery, is today a laboratory space of the Museum of History of Barcelona. The Oliva Artés building will host the paintings and drawings of Neus Martín Royo that refer to the industrial past of Poblenou and its technological transformation towards 22.. The author has painted a large-format triptych—one of the few paintings created ad hoc for the exhibition, 6 meters long—on Olive Artés’s past, present and future, which will be displayed in the central nave of the factory as a large iconoclast altarpiece. Accompanied by the altarpiece will be an industrially inspired sculpture by Efraïm Rodríguez.
